I talk a lot about bad managers, but good managers are equally as important too. Good managers are really hard to come by. Managers can make or break an employee’s work experience and mold whether than employee stays for the long term. So what makes a good manager great?

•  Flexibility and Understanding not everyone works within the same way
•  Lead through inspiring others to become leaders within themselves
•  Make employees feel part of the decision making process and the team- explain the reasons things are done a certain way. If you treat people to come in and only to their job and leave- that’s what they are going to do.
•  Communication and Problem Solving- not simply doing everything the old way all the time just because that the way it’s always been done 
•  If everyone if thriving, there is less stress, less frustration, more sales better flow of the production line- whatever industry you are in.
